Youngest Chartered Accountant is an Indian

At the age of 18, most of us are unaware about what we want to pursue in life. Just graduating from school with an above 90 percentile and getting a seat in a prestigious college seems like a big achievement for most of us! Then there are others who dare to take the leap and continue to work hard to give shape to their goals. They work silently with full dedication and perseverance & don’t stop unless they get what they’d set out to achieve.

One such example today is Ramkumar Raman, an Indian boy from Dubai who has set a record by becoming the youngest Chartered Accountant (CA) in the world. Although having scored 8.6 CGPA in grade 10 and 87% in class 12th, he considers himself to be an average student and credits his success to discipline and religiously following his study schedule – he would wake up at 6 even on holidays!

Raman took 3 years to crack the exams, but he managed to clear all the 14 papers in the first attempt itself. He began his coaching in 2012 and wrote his final exams in June 2015. While many other students have only began to qualify for this field, Raman is surely ahead of his contemporaries!

Raman wishes to pursue the field of Investment Banking and is aiming to get into a top MBA college in the USA. Well Mr. Ramkumar Raman, we wish you all the best for all your future ventures and hope that you continue to make us proud!
