Siddhartha Bansal is a Delhi based fashion designer known for his quirky and appealing contemporary wear collections. He pursued textile designing and then interned with Studio B and Satya Paul, later he went on to work with few renowned designers like Manish Arora. His designs are a reflection of his love for India and pop culture. The feminine cuts combined with appealing colour combinations and intricate kitschy motifs exude a sense of wanderlust.
At the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort held in April’16, the designer narrated his design story with artsy prints and embroideries on classic creations for men and women. His collection called Doors portrayed the diffusion of art, architecture and craftsmanship influence. The intermingling of Rajasthani culture and Turkish architecture was evident throughout his collection. Scintillating motifs along with a bright colour palette of pale lime, yellow, peach pink, purple, pink, muave, bottle green, turquoise and emerald, were the highlight of his creations. The talented designer narrated the story of various Doors that have changed through the years.
Siddhartha is currently retailing his designs from his design studio in Shahpur Jat, New Delhi.
