The dictionary meaning of the word cape is: “A sleeveless garment of various lengths, fastened around the neck and falling loosely from the shoulders, worn separately or attached to a coat or other outer garment.” In terms of fashion however, there are a zillion ways to define and style a cape. Capes are perhaps gaining popularity owing to the fact that in any length or style, a cape always flatters and adds instant glam even to a plain outfit.

Fall 2015 has seen a resurgence in this trend with winter coats, trenches, jackets and soft shrugs taking a cape turn, literally!
